It has been said that a picture is worth a thousand words. As you look at the photographs in this section, you will understand our concern about the foundation and structure of the Mormon Church and Masonic Lodge.
If you are a Christian who has never experienced the occult, you may be alarmed. If you have been involved in witchcraft or Satanism, you will probably not find much here that is unfamiliar.
Look closely at the Mormon Temple architecture and symbolism. Examine the symbols and "working tools" of the Freemason. Why has the Mormon Church elected to display astrological symbols and satanic pentagrams instead of the Christian cross? Why is the "Evil Eye" of Horus found embedded on a capstone over the window of the east central tower? Why are occultic symbols found stitched into the Mormon "sacred" undergarment? Why are these identical symbols found in places of prominence in every Masonic Lodge? What is the true meaning of the beehive?
Please don't misunderstand what we are trying to show in this section. We don't believe that the devil is hiding under every bush. We believe that Satan's power has been greatly exaggerated in the modern church and he is given entirely TOO MUCH credit for the evil that plagues mankind. The Prophet Jeremiah tells us that, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?" (Jeremiah 17:9) If the words of Scripture mean anything at all (and we believe they do), there is something far more evil in this world than some imaginary "demonic presence" sent to plague mankind. The most dangerous form of wickedness resides in the heart! Indeed, it is the basic sin nature of man (along with his carnal living and innate character flaws) that is responsible for much of what we see.
Nevertheless, the Holy Bible is very specific about man's involvement with witchcraft, divination, necromancy, and other acts of disobedience to the Holy God. We are warned against such deeds in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD:..."
We recognize, of course, that symbols commonly attributed to the occult are frequently used in complete innocence and with no evil intentions. For example, millions of people hold in high regard the "stars" and stripes of the American flag even though the star is used in witchcraft. I'm sure that very few people who erect their annual Christmas tree (and adorn it with stars) are thinking about the tree's origin as a pagan symbol or the fact that the pine tree was dedicated to Attis and Cybele. There is nothing inherently evil about a beehive, or the sun, or a carpenter's square, or a triangle--even though they are all used as divination tools for the occultist. We know that other symbols are used simply for adornment or cultural reasons.
We cannot condemn the use of all symbols when they are used in these innocent ways. But when we see a multitude of occultic symbols and architectural designs being used by those with a proven track record of involvement with necromancy, witchcraft rituals, allegiance to false gods, idolatry, divination, crystal gazing, and consultation with familiar spirits, WE MUST DRAW ANOTHER CONCLUSION!
What you will find in this section are examples of the "working tools" of these groups. When you come across a hyperlink, please take the time to read each article.

The all-seeing eye was well-known Satanist Aleister
Crowley's favorite symbol. It is found on the face of the one dollar bill, Masonic
Lodge furniture, and over the highest window of the east central tower of the
Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah. Known as the "Eye of Horus"
or "Utchat Eye" 1, it is associated
with both the Egyptian God Horus (god of war) and his father Osiris (who along
with Isis comprise the Egyptian Triad). Albert Pike, Masonic Grand Commander
admitted, "...the All-seeing eye,...to the Egyptian initiates was the emblem
of Osiris, the Creator." 2
Called the "mal ochio" (evil eye), this object is
regarded by all Satanists as the symbol of Lucifer. 3

The beehive symbol is found throughout Mormondom: on the state flag, on highway patrol cars, on highway signs, and on the centerpiece of the six "sun-wheel" designs on the main doors of the Mormon temple. The Mormon word "Deseret" is identified with the honeybee in the Book of Mormon, "And they did also carry with them deseret, which, by interpretation, is a honey bee; and thus they did carry with them swarms of bees,..." (Ether 2:3)
The beehive, a symbol of industry, is equated in Christianity
with diligence, cooperation, and an ordered community. 1
There are two main reasons, however, why the Christian concept might be discounted in Mormonism. First, Mormons are not Christians! Second, with the great number of other occultic symbols on the temple, an equally occultic meaning to the beehive should be at least considered.
The beehive is also a Masonic emblem, found on the "Master's
Carpet." According to William Schnoebelen, "The bee symbolism is integrated
into witchcraft and Masonry. ...The bee is a common symbol in the sexual-phallic
cults of Asia Minor, especially in the city of Ephesus." 2
The parallels become obvious. As the drone bee leaves behind his sexual organ when he fertilizes the queen, Hiram Abiff (a primary character in Freemasonry) loses the Master's Word, a veiled reference to his sexual power. In the witchcraft legend of Osiris, Osiris is ritually castrated.
As the initiation of a witchcraft priest involves a symbolic
castration, this ceremonial wounding was originally practiced in the LDS endowment.
The marks on the temple garment were actually cut into them with knives, causing
bleeding to occur on the skin beneath. 3
The bee is also the symbol of an Egyptian goddess. According to Kenneth Grant,
head of the Satanic-Masonic organization, the OTO: "The bee is the specific
symbol of Sekhet, whose name means 'a bee.' She is the goddess of intoxication
and sexual passion...the bee, which is the copula between the male and female
elements in flowers, was a type of the soul which...guides the souls of the
dead en route for the fields of heavenly mead or honey." 4

The Big Dipper (Ursa Major) constellation symbol is found on the west tower of the Mormon Temple and was known by the Egyptians as the "Dragon of the Seven Stars." Brigham Young--Prophet, Seer, and Revelator (1847-1877) of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons)
As the second President of the Mormon Church and successor to Joseph Smith, Young held that office for more years than any other man. He was responsible for the Mormon trek from Illinois and the eventual establishment of the Utah Mormon empire. He claimed an infallible prophetic succession as the mouthpiece of God. Read the following statements by Young and decide for yourself if he speaks for God:
"The only men who become Gods, even the Sons of
God, are those who enter into polygamy." 1
"...the God that I serve is progressing eternally,
and so are his children:..." 2
"Now remember from this time forth, and for ever,
the Jesus Christ was not begotten by the Holy Ghost." 3
"He [God] is our Father--the Father of our spirits,
and was once a man in mortal flesh as we are, and is now an exalted being."
4
"The man Joseph, the husband of Mary, did not, that
we know of, have more than one wife, but Mary the wife of Joseph had another
husband." 5
"Who can tell us of the inhabitants of this little
planet that shines of an evening, called the moon?...when you inquire about
the inhabitants of that sphere you find that the most learned are as ignorant
in regard to them as the ignorant of their fellows. So it is in regard to the
inhabitants of the sun." 6

The inverted pentagram is the consummate symbol of Satan.
It is the official symbol of the Church of Satan. Universally known for its
sinister and evil influence, it is also known as the "Goat of Mendez."
In witchcraft, the inverted pentacle depicts the Devil's Goat and the Witches
Foot. It is ultimately the symbol of the star Sirius (from the Greek word "scorching")
or "dog star." It is known by the Egyptians as Set, or Satan. Identified
by the Masonic Lodge as the "Blazing Star," it is found at the center
of every Masonic Lodge and is the official emblem of the Order of the Eastern
Star. The inverted pentagram is the second most common symbol used in Mormon
architecture, being extensively used in exterior keystones.

The Book of Mormon is printed in many languages. Fifty thousand full-time
Mormon missionaries use this "other gospel" in their efforts to promote
the doctrine that men can become gods.

The Eagle Gate, erected in 1859, is a large archway presently located near Temple Square (on State Street) in Salt Lake City, Utah. It is capped with an immense 4,000-pound eagle with a 20-foot wing span. The large eagle is perched on a beehive and capstone (with inverted pentagrams embossed on both sides).
The Eagle Gate was originally the main entrance to City Creek Cañon, a section of property "granted" to Brigham Young by the first Territorial Legislature. The Gate provided an opening to the 11-foot-high boulder, cobblestone, and mortar wall that enclosed Prophets Block, two squares of ten acres each. The property contained the Lion House, Tithing House, Beehive House, Deseret store, and their buildings pertaining to Brigham Young.

The "navel mark" is a horizontal buttonhole sewn into the fabric of the Mormon undergarment. Along with the Masonic symbols of the square, compass, and knee marking, the navel mark is considered sacred.
According to Chuck Sackett, author of What's Going On In
There? and former Mormon Temple worker, the navel mark "recalls
the need of constant nourishment for body and spirit. In the early Mormon Temple
ceremonies some of the marks were cut into the garment with a small knife while
on the patron's body, thus knicking his flesh and shedding his blood into the
garment." 1
The navel mark resembles a gauge or ruler. William Schnoebelen
tells us, " [the navel mark] is the Masonic symbol for the 'Middle
Pillar' of the Qabalistic Tree of Life. Just as the right and left hand parts
of the body in occultism are male and female respectively; so the Middle Pillar
corresponds to the center of the body--the head, solar plexus, navel and genitals."

The handclasp symbol (which is located on the east central tower of the
Salt Lake City Mormon Temple) has significance to the Masons, Mormons, and Satanists
alike. The symbol is associated with the similar and often identical blood oaths,
signs, and penalties involved for violation of their secrets.
In witchcraft, the grips are used for not only recognition purposes, but to stimulate energy by applying pressure to various acupuncture points or "great points." In the Mormon Melchizedek Priesthood, the grip is called the "Sure Sign of the Nail." In witchcraft, a closely guarded secret among Luciferian initiates discloses the code name for Satan, which is "The Nail."
According to William Schnoebelen, author of Mormonism's Temple of Doom (1987, pp. 29-31), "This is because nails caused so much pain to Jesus and because of their phallic symbolism."

The magic talisman (photograph on the left) was owned by Mormon Prophet Joseph Smith Jr. and was found on him when he was martyred in Carthage, Il. Dr. Durban, President of the Association and Director of the LDS Institute of Religion at the University of Utah, explained to an audience, "...I should like to initiate all of you into what is perhaps the strangest, the most mysterious, occult-like esoteric, and yet Masonically oriented practice ever adopted by Joseph Smith....All available evidence suggests that Joseph Smith the Prophet possessed a magical Masonic medallion, or talisman, which he worked during his lifetime and which was evidently on his person when he was martyred."
The photograph on the right is taken from The Magus by Francis Barrett (1995 reprint of original 1801 edition, p. 143). The Magus was an instruction into dark magick, the Kabbalah, alchemy, and witchcraft. See the article entitled Magick Talisman for the full story.

One of the occultic parchments owned by Hyrum Smith. The circular objects are known in witchcraft as pentacles. They are used by magicians to gain power over the spirit world.
Hyrum Smith, Joseph Smiths brother, was one of the eight witnesses to the Book of Mormon. He was very close to Joseph and was incarcerated with him in the Carthage jail. He was killed by the mob in the same blazing gunfight that ended the life of the first Mormon prophet. The full story (and more pictures) behind Hyrums materials can be found in Mormon Magick.

The Saturn Stone found on the Mormon Temple. "Saturn is a planet of darkness, long associated with grim, funereal and evil things. In astrology it is called the 'greater malefic' or greater evil. Saturn is named for one of the Greek titan gods of mythology, Kronos. Kronos was a singularly unsavory god who devoured his children." 1

The square is a symbol located on the right breast area
of the Mormon underwear, officially called the "garment of the Holy Priesthood."
The garment is worn by all temple Mormons as "a shield and a protection
to you from the power of the destroyer until you have finished your work on
the earth." 1
A close examination of the garment reveals two button holes
sewn in the shape of a square reminding the Mormon of the "need for
exactness and honor in living up to his temple vows." 2
Evidence shows that the square was originally taken from the Masonic ritual where the Fellowcraft candidate (2nd degree--Blue Lodge) is challenged on his naked right breast by the point of the square.
|
According to Masonic tradition, the
candidate is originally taught that the square is both "a symbol of morality"
and the "emblem of a Master Mason." 3 According
to the Masonic Lodge, however, the real truth behind its symbols is reserved
for the "elect." Masonic Lecturer Dr. John Wesley Kelchner explains,
"Freemasonry is a complete system of symbolic teachings, and can
be known, understood and appreciated only by those who study its symbolism,
and make themselves acquainted with it's occult meanings." 4
Consequently, the Mason does not realize the significance of the square until
his indoctrination into the 32nd degree (Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret).
The symbol of that degree (Photo on left) is an
old hermetic (Gnostic or occultic) figure of a two-headed being. The
female arm is holding the square. According to Masonic Grand Commander Albert
Pike, "The square...is a natural and appropriate Symbol of this earth...The
hermaphroditic figure is the Symbol of the double nature anciently assigned
to the Deity, as Generator and Producer, as Brahm and Maya among the Arians,
Osiris and Isis among the Egyptians. As the Sun was male, so the Moon was female;
and Isis was both the sister and the wife of Osiris. The Compass, therefore,
is the Hermetic Symbol of the Creative Deity, and the Square of the productive
Earth or Universe." 5
There appears to be strong evidence of a connection between the use of the square in both Masonry and Mormonism and to its use in witchcraft. William Schnoebelen, author of Mormonism's Temple of Doom, gives us his account (when he went to the Mormon Temple):
"I was amazed at how well the occult symbolism had been carried through on the stitched marks: the temple garment was a textbook study in Luciferian symbolism. I was well acquainted with the Masonic symbols because at a certain point in my Wiccan development, my teachers told me to seek Masonic initiation, so I did....Here I learned the profound links between Lucifer-worship, Wicca and Masonry."
"Over the right breast of the Mormon undergarment
is a square. The right hand side is masculine and sacred to the Horned God (who
we in Wicca eventually learned was Lucifer). The square is sacred to Lucifer
because of its phallic connotations, and the Fellowcraft candidate in Masonry
is challenged on his right breast by the point of the square."

The compass is a symbol located on the left breast area of the Mormon underwear, officially called the "garment of the Holy Priesthood." The garment is worn by all temple Mormons as "a shield and a protection to you from the power of the destroyer until you have finished your work on the earth." 1
A close look at the garment reveals a pair of button holes sewn in the shape of a "V." The compass reminds the Mormon "...that all Truth may be circumscribed into one great whole, and that all appetites and passions must be kept within certain bounds which the Lord has prescribed." 2
Evidence shows that the compass was originally taken from the Masonic ritual where the Entered Apprentice candidate (1st degree--Blue Lodge) is challenged on his naked left breast by the point of the compass. According to Masonic tradition, the candidate is originally taught that the compass is "...the most prominent emblem of virtue, the true and only measure of a Freemason's life and conduct." 3
As with many things related to the Masonic Lodge, however, the real truth behind its symbols is reserved for the "elect." Masonic author Ralph Anderson writes, "A symbol is an outer and visible form which hides or veils an inner spiritual reality....hidden behind the entire system of symbols is some spiritual value and some definite and intended teaching which can be discovered by those whose vision can be awakened." 4
The beginning Mason, therefore, does not realize the significance of the compass until his indoctrination into the 32nd degree (Sublime Prince of the Royal Secret). The symbol of that degree is an old hermetic (Gnostic or occultic) figure of a two-headed being. The female arm is holding the compass. According to Masonic Grand Commander Albert Pike, "The compass...is an equally natural and appropriate Symbol of the Heavens,...The Heavens and the Earth were personified as Deities, even among the Aryan Ancestors of the European nations of the Hindus, Zends, Bactrians, and Persians;...They were deified also among the Phoenicians; and among the Greek Ouranos and Gea, Heaven and Earth, were sung as the most ancient of the Deities, by Hesiod. The Compass, therefore, is the Hermetic symbol of the Creative Deity,..." 5
The connection between the use of the square in both Masonry and Mormonism and its use in witchcraft is apparent. William Schnoebelen comments, "The Masonic compass is stitched over the left breast of the Mormon temple garment. In esoteric Masonry I was taught that the compass represents the sacred Goddess. This is because the compass is used to describe a circle in geometry, and the circle is the consummate symbol of the Goddess in Wicca. Hence all coven ritual is conducted in a circle. As a matter of fact, the 'point' of the sacred coven circle actually is the womb of the high priestess who represents the Goddess. The circle then is a symbol of the Queen of Heaven; and the compass is her chief tool....in all occultism, the left-hand is considered sacred to the feminine, goddess-principle." 6

The Sun Stones on the Salt Lake City Mormon Temple are
located on embossed granite slabs on the buttresses directly above the moon.
There are forty rays of light emanating from each sun. There is some indication
that even after the temple was dedicated, a plan was to guild the rays with
gold and shadow the areas in between so that "orbs of golden light"
would be visible to those standing below. 1
According to Mormon beliefs, the sun is a symbol of the glory of the celestial kingdom, and its light is equated with the radiance of celestial beings.
However, if you compare the Salt Lake City Temple sun stones
with the capstone used for the Nauvoo Mormon Temple, you find a striking resemblance
to the Inca Sun God, "...The sun was depicted as human in form, with
the face as a radiant disk of gold and was 'the ancestor.'" 2

The sun, because of its high position and clarity of its light, has long been a symbol of worship among many civilizations. It is generally regarded as a masculine god or universal Father. The sun is a symbol of the ancient Sun God Baal.
To the Egyptians, the rising sun is Horus, with Ra as the Zenith,
and Osiris as the setting sun. 1 Ra
(also Re) was represented as a man with the head of a hawk or a falcon, crowned
with a solar disk, and the figure of the sacred asp or cobra. 2

The Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City, Utah, was conceived by Brigham Young (second President of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in 1847, just four days after arriving in the Salt Lake valley. Construction began on the granite-sandstone structure in 1853 with about 150 stonecutters, masons, carpenters, and artisans working on the project at any one time. After 40 years of construction and at a cost of about 4 million dollars, the temple was dedicated on April 6, 1893.
The architect for the Salt Lake Temple was Truman Angell, construction supervisor for the Kirtland Temple and Brigham Young's brother-in-law. Upon returning from a mission trip to study architecture in England, Angell directed the building of the St. George Temple, Salt Lake Tabernacle, and Logan Temple.
The dimensions of the temple are: 181 feet long, 118 feet wide,
107 feet high. The east center tower is 210 feet high; the west center tower
is 204 feet high. The exterior walls are 8 feet thick at the base and 6 feet
thick at the top. 1
A "temple recommend" that is signed by the candidate's bishop, is required by each participant before entering the temple or participating in the ceremonies involved. The temple recommend attests to the candidate's moral living habits, dedication to the church, and tithing record.
The Mormon Temple is used for a variety of secret and "sacred" ordinances by those dedicated Mormons who have been found worthy to receive them. Temple "endowments," marriages, "sealings," and proxy "baptisms for the dead" are all part of the temple mystery.
To get an idea of the spiritual significance of the temple ceremonies (and just which spirits are really involved), one simply needs to look closely at the exterior temple architecture. The exterior markings include:
(1) Inverted, elongated pentagrams (five-pointed stars) that are identified in witchcraft as the consummate symbol of Satan.
(2) The complete absence of any traditional Christian symbols (cross, Chi-Rho, lamb, Ichthus, etc.).
(3) The Big Dipper (Ursa Major) constellation symbol
is found on the west tower and was known by the Egyptians as the "Dragon
of the Seven Stars." It was also known in the second and third centuries
A. D. as the "Seven-headed Beast" of Revelation 13:1 - the arch enemy
of the church of God! 2
(4) Astrological and planetary stones used as keystones and arranged in patterns similar to the witchcraft "Tree of Life."
(5) The ultra-evil "Saturn stones" located on the
top portions of the tower. Saturn "...rules the Satanic high priesthood
which involves vampirism, intercourse with the dead, and ultimately, ritual
murder. The Saturn currents in voodoo are among the most debauched and perverted
in the world." 3
(6) The "all-seeing" eye of Horus is located over the window of the east central tower. It is known as the "evil eye" and is regarded by Satanists as the symbol of Lucifer!
(7) Beehives, handclasps, sunstones, cloudstones, and spires--all of which have sinister and occultic meanings and history.
